Figma Unleash Their Bruce Lee Figure

Hot on the heels of the S.H. Figuarts reveal of their Bruce Lee figure, Figma have revealed their own. I have to say I’ve never known a company to release figures of the iconic martial artist before in this scale. I have to say I’m really happy they finally are!

The likeness is pretty good on this figure of Bruce Lee, though I have to say the shouting and glaring facial expressions leave a bit to be desired. The plain face looks simply excellent. Max Factory has done a fantastic job on the body sculpt too. The detail is amazing; the only problem I have with it is that the elbow joints look a bit glaring.

He’s also wearing his iconic blue kung-fu pants, which look great. I should mention a flexible plastic is used at his chest, hips, and other areas so it does not hinder his articulation. Because he’s a Figma, you shouldn’t have to worry about not being able to get him in the perfect kung fu pose, as he’s packed with articulation.

He comes with three different faces – a blank expression, a shouting expression and a glaring expression. He’ll also come with some alternate hands and a nunchaku with a real metal chain, which of course is awesome. Like all Figma figures, he’ll also come with an articulated support stand.

If you’re a Bruce Lee fan and want this figure you’ll be able to get him in the November of this year. Pre-orders are currently being accepted here for $46.99.

Bryan first discovered an appreciation for action figures at an early age, setting up elaborate GI Joe ant hill attacks, complete with firework pyrotechnics. Due to the high injury rate for the Joes, replacements were a constant necessity.
