Figma Pyramid Head from ‘Silent Hill 2’ gets new Images

The Good Smile Company has recently revealed new images of their upcoming Figma Pyramid Head Silent Hill 2 figure. This figure stands 8″ tall and features standard Figma articulation to get him a variety of poses.

I have to say the detail on this figure is very impressive especially in his outfit and his head. There seems to be some great texture on them. The outfit looks like a cyberpunk-ish doctor coat with small buckles and blood all over it. The sculpt looks very good with all the creases and folds on the character’s costume. He’s also wearing black boots, which look a plain glossy black, and bloodied doctors gloves, which look fantastic as they don’t look completely opaque, as they should do. I should add that he looks a bit more muscular than he appeared in the game and his flesh tone is not completely screen-accurate.

The head looks like it is made of a rusty metal and looks very heavy; the texture looks very rough. I love how they made it look real with all the little dents in the head and how the helmet comes together. I love the dark red color too it makes him really menacing. Also beneath the helmet we can see some of his grotesque visage poking beneath the pyramid. It looks very nasty, especially at the back where we see a lot of flesh. Product listings say that there is a neck part in the accessories and I am not sure if the fleshy part is that accessory or not. Though, I have to say he is very well painted

Speaking of accessories, he comes with some interchangeable hands and a big rusty spear, which is very well detailed. The binding around the top looks like he’s found some metal and wrapped it around it. He also comes with his ‘Great Knife’, which is a honking big sword in the shape of a sharp kitchen knife. Finally, he also comes with that neck part, which I’m a bit unclear about, and a standard Figma stand.

This figure is up for pre-order now on BBTS and will cost you around $60.00 and will be released next April. If you’re a big fan of the Silent Hill games this figure is simply a must have.
