Exclusive Legacy Collection Hand of the King Tyrion by Funko is Real AND Available!

“Let me give you some advice b******. Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.” ~Tyrion Lannister

Take that quote to heart fellow collectors, as you’ll be getting some strange looks casually perusing your local Walgreeens in search of this exclusive! Despite that, nothing beats a successful toy hunt. The spoils of today’s adventure netted the brand new, exclusive, Funko Legacy Hand of the King Tyrion!

Fear not – you won’t have to travel beyond The Wall to grab this figure!

Exclusive to Walgreens Drug Stores, this figure features Tyrion Lannister in his typical maroon garb. His shirt includes the pin designating him as the Hand of the King, a dagger, and a brand new headsculpt. This is definitely no mere tweak, it’s a new figure.

This figure was kept under extreme secrecy, zero pre-release info or official pictures were to be found beyond a leak. Fast forward to now; the community has been the only entity to confirm its existence and arrival dates. As with their early release to Barnes and Noble with Series 1, Funko has successfully kept this figure under wraps and released under the radar.

The shelf assortment appeared to simply substitute the typical armored Tyrion in favor for the exclusive, while the others remained the same.

All figures in the assortment featured updated box prints detailing the Legacy Collection, clearly detonating these as a secondary release from the quality control plagued first run.

New box art detonating a second release

Hand of the King Tyrion cost $16.99 – cheaper than the average Legacy action figure retail. Whether this is Walgreens pricing, or Funko is acting in good faith is beyond my knowledge.

Hopefully you have an easier time finding Tyrion than the Lannisters have had with their search for Jamie!

Happy Hunting!
