Dr. Robotnik Statue comes next in First 4 Figures’ Classic Sonic Collectible Range

Between First 4 Figures and Gaming Heads, all of your gaming related statue needs should be pretty close to covered. Today First 4 Figures announced their next Classic Sonic Collectible – a Dr. Robotnik Statue!

Dr. Ivo ‘Eggman’ Robotnik is a maniacal, genius inventor who is trying to conquer the world. He is the arch-nemesis of Sonic the Hedgehog, who is constantly trying to thwart Robotnik’s many diverse schemes for world domination. His most notorious plan is to enslave the world’s population of animals by turning them into deadly robotic armies to hunt Sonic down and to rule over the planet from his massive orbiting fortress: The Death Egg. Dr. Robotnik isn’t afraid to take matters into his own hands, and often pilots his own specially designed crafts to try and wipe Sonic out once and for all…

First 4 Figures’ Dr. Robotnik statue stands an impressive 22-inches tall and 19-inches wide, putting him in perfect scale with some of their already released Classic Sonic Statues. This also makes him the biggest collectible First 4 Figures has ever created!

He’s in one of his most famous poses, crazily laughing with his arms outstretched. Also included in the package is a pair of interchangeable hands featuring the Chaos Emeralds as seen in the classic “Try Again” screen from the end of Sonic the Hedgehog 1. The can be swapped or mixed, it just depends on collector preference.

This epic statue comes in epic full-color packaging with a hand-numbered base and certificate of authenticity. The COA allows you to purchase the same model number in future First 4 Figures Classic Sonic statue releases.

The statue is highly limited to just 1,000 pieces worldwide and is going to cost $399.99. Pre-orders are currently available here and the statue is set to start shipping in Q2 2015.
