Diamond Select Toys and Popcap Launch Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare Toys next month

Get ready to dig into the trenches, as Diamond Select Toys and Popcap are launching a full line of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare toys in September. Plants vs. Zombies has already conquered the Xbox One and PC platforms and is now looking to make its way onto the Playstation 4. That’s not all though, because the partnership between Diamond Select Toys and Popcap is also going to allow Plants vs. Zombies to take over the toy aisle!

The toys aren’t scheduled to hit stores until next month and the DST team is giving you the chance to win a set as soon as they launch. When they launch, DST is going to have a small line of “bloom and doom” action figure two-packs at comic shops, specialty stores, and your local Toys “R” Us. The two-pack features two 5-inch scale action figures, with each pack containing one plant and one zombie, both based on the designs found in the epic Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare game by Popcap and EA.

The assortment includes two-packs of the Gatling Pea with Scientist Zombie, Camo Cactus with Foot Soldier Zombie, Chomper with Engineer Zombie, and Shadow Flower with the All-Star Zombie.

Additionally, two box sets of Plants vs. Zombies Minimates mini-figures are going to be available in early September, one set at comic shops and the other available exclusively at Toys “R” Us. The TRU set features mini-figures of the Foot Soldier Zombie, Scientist Zombie, Chomper, Sunflower, and two Pea Shooters; and the comic shop assortment features the Engineer Zombie, All-Star Zombie, Cactus, Sunflower, and two Pea Shooters.

Remember that I mentioned Diamond Select Toys would be giving you the chance to win sets of all 8 action figures and both sets of Minimates? Well, to enter you just need to share one of the photos featured in this article on your Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or Google Plus page, and send your name, address, and a link to the page to collectdst@gmail.com! The winter will be drawn on September 1, 2014. Enter as many times as you like, it will only increase you chances of winning!

If you are interested in pre-ordering any of the figures, you can currently order them here.
