DST have big plans for the Netflix Castlevania License!
Last night Diamond Select Toys announced that they have the license to Netflix’s Castlevania series. They detailed that they’ll be releasing Select action figures, Minimates, Vinimates, Gallery PVC Dioramas, Resin statues, Busts & more.
The Netflix series is based on Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse and the second series will debut on the service later this month. Also, NYCC will be this weekend and DST will be showing off some new products. So it’s entirely possible that they’ll be showing prototypes at the show, as the products will start to roll out in 2019.
I have to say I am really excited about this announcement. As I loved the Castlevania game series growing up and I love the look of the show. Even though I haven’t watched it, I’ve seen the characters and their designs are very reminiscent of the artwork we’ve seen from the later games in the series. I’ll definitely be all in for the Select figures and Minimates and I’m very curious to see the PVC pieces and resin statues.
