If you are a big fan of Greg Capullo, or just amazing action figures in general, then I would like to direct your attention to DC Collectibles Designer Series 1. This is one of DC Collectibles‘ newer series, which should be hitting stores by as early as the end of May.
As you can see from the images, Batman, Nightwing, Talon, and the Riddler are all part of this first Designer Series 1, with all figure designs by Greg Capullo. Each of Greg Capullo’s designs have faithfully been recreated in action figure form. Talon features that haunting owl mask, the owl shoulder emblem, the owl hand guard, and the a bunch of throwing knives; just like in the comics. Batman, Nightwing, and the Riddler’s designs also check out the their comic counterparts, with The Riddler sporting some very impressive sideburns.
IGN reports that the figures do have a little problem holding onto their accessories. Though, that is clearly made up with the outstanding character designs. Each figure retails for $24.95, with Batman and Talon becoming available on May 30, and Nightwing and Riddler on June 30.
