Comicave Studios Announces Mind-Blowing Hulkbuster Quarter Scale Figure

There are already quite a few high-end collectible manufacturers producing quality figures, but more is always welcome. Comicave Studios, a new company from Singapore that deals in conceptualizing, designing, and manufacturing high-end and premium collectibles, has announced what I believe is truly the Ultimate Hulkbuster quarter scale action figure.

He’s probably not even just the best 1/4 scale Hulkbuster, as I bet it beats our other Hulkbusters from Hot Toys, Hasbro, Funko, LEGO, and Kotobukiya.

At the red carpet premier of Avengers: Age of Ultron in Hollywood, Comicave Studios revealed the massive figure. This marks the first time that any international company has been able to display a high-end collectible at a Marvel red carpet premier.

He’s said to stand roughly four feet tall and will include a full range of articulation and animatronics to show the opening of the suit to reveal the Mark 43 armor inside.

Check out the suit in action:

“The launch of Hulkbuster and other exclusive Iron Man collectibles by one of our subsidiaries, Comicave Studios could not have asked for a better launch pad than the Avengers: Age of Ultron red carpet gala premiere in Los Angeles, making it undoubtedly the biggest Hollywood blockbuster event of 2015. Our strategic long-term alliance with Marvel over the years has evolved across different business segments and the recent agreement to collaborate with Marvel for the global premiere of Avengers: Age of Ultron has further enhanced our relationship with them,” said Mr. Mohammed Khammas, CEO, Al Ahli Holding Group.

If you go to the company’s Facebook page, there is a lot of confusion about their products because some of their official images have the Play Imaginative logo on it. Play Imaginative is the master license holder for Marvel in Singapore, so Comicave Studios had to get their license through them.

The figures aren’t made by Play Imaginative, just licensed by them so we don’t have to worry about another quality control disaster.

With all of the new technology going into these figures, I wouldn’t imagine they are affordable for mostly everyone. Do you think a 4-foot articulated Iron Man could cost more than my car?

Bryan first discovered an appreciation for action figures at an early age, setting up elaborate GI Joe ant hill attacks, complete with firework pyrotechnics. Due to the high injury rate for the Joes, replacements were a constant necessity.
