Classic Video Game Appearance Rambo Action Figure next up in NECA’s 8-bit Video Game Tribute Line

The Classic Video Game Appearance Rambo Action Figure is NECA’s seventh figure to join the highly successful line of classic 8-bit video game tribute figures. What started off as just a show exclusive at SDCC 2013, turned into something the fans just can’t get enough of.

Following Sylvester Stallone’s appearance as Rambo in First Blood Part II, the side-scrolling game was released in 1988 for the super popular 8-bit home console.

He stands about 7-inches tall, with over 25 points of articulation, allowing you to get some really great poses. He comes with a rocket launcher, knife, grenade, bow and arrows for accessories. Just like with previous figures to join this line, Rambo’s paint takes a stylized approach to reproduce the game’s original cel-shaded look.

If you are a MOC collector, the packaging is really one of the best parts about this line. NECA gave each figure special packaging that has the look and feel of the classic video game cartridge box. Limited to one production run only, this figure is currently available for pre-order here. It’s expected to arrive this January for around $25, though many retailers have him listed for less.
