Boss Fight Studio’s Awesome Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S Action Figure Kickstarter
Boss Fight Studio has started a brilliant Kickstarter Campaign with the first line of Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S Action Figures. This series is based on Greek Mythology and I must say they look absolutely phenomenal.
They are 4″ tall and are solely aimed for adult collectors, such as those who build dioramas and customizers. They feature 17 points of articulation and come apart at each point, so you can interchange parts with other Spartans or Gorgon’s depending on what figure you have. You could also put custom armor pieces on them and paint the figures and put them back together without any hassle; you don’t see that with many figures these days. Each figure will come with a plethora of personal armor, accessories, and interchangeable hands.
The Kickstarter pledge and stretch goals are absolutely huge. They have made some really big plans for the Greek Mythology figures with different Spartans, Gorgons, accessories and plenty of other incentives like art pieces, T-shirts, and Kickstarter exclusive figures. I really love the fact that they have even created characters like King Leonidas, Stone Fist, Stheno and Eurayle. They all look unique with different head-sculpts, outfits, and accessories. Check out their Kickstarter Page to see the wide variety of figures they are planning to do.
It should be noted that only Wave 1 is the initial Kickstarter Project and the later waves are pledge goals. The pledge goal figures sold individually will cost an additional $25, the Blank Body figures, which will come in either male or female, will cost $15 in any color. The Skeleton will cost $15 and the accessories sets will cost $10 each, which comes in various colors and character specific accessories. To get these you have to pass the Wave 1 level, which costs $30 for an individual. Wave 1 is made up of Spartan Warrior, Medusa, Stone Spartan and Gorgon Coral Snake.
I really love the packaging design of the figures and I hope that they’ll be resalable so that you can easily put them away safely without risking them getting damaged.
I must say they look absolutely brilliant, the sculpts look stunning and all figures feature so much intricate detail for 4-inch figures, as well as the amount of articulation; it’s simply astounding. They are perfect for army building, as you can get a wide variety of poses out if them so each one will be different. They are expected to be released this October.
