Bloodborne Hunter Statue Receives an Update!
The 1/6 Scale Bloodborne Hunter Statue Now Comes With a Puddle of Blood!
In January, Gecco Toys partnered up with Sony Entertainment to bring cult followers of Bloodborne a 1/6 Scale Bloodborne Hunter Statue. Now, a month later, an updated statue is coming out, entitled the “Puddle of Blood” version.
Just like the regular version, this one is also easy to assemble and incredibly detailed. The head is covered in small wrinkles, the layers of clothes are tattered and covered in small folds, and the weapons almost seem real. What is even more interesting is the removable hands. This option exists due to future “Arms Collections,” where collectors will easily be able to switch out the original weapon with various other weapons from the game. The “Arms Collections” will most likely feature other in-game weapons such as cleavers, swords, guns, and giant mallets, as can be seen in the game.
For now, the weapons included are the “Hunter Blunderbuss” in one hand, and the “Saw Cleaver” in the other, both iconic weapons. Unlike the normal version where the statue stands on a cracked cobblestone street, the “Puddle of Blood” version has the base, the Hunter’s boots, clothes, and weapons covered in blood, which befits a statue of a character from a game with the word blood in it.
Both versions of the statue are priced at $299 and can be bought directly from Gecco, with free shipping included. As mentioned before, the statue is 1/6 scale of the in-game character, meaning that its size is 320mm in height, and is prepainted and made of high quality plastic. The posture is, however, not changeable, and depicts the standing pose as seen in the game when the character is out of battle.
Both versions are perfect for any fan of the game or a statue collector, with the blood puddle a bonus for those who feel like having a bit of goriness. Shipping for the regular version began in January 2016, while the “Puddle of Blood” version comes out in “February 2016,” which will hopefully be any day now.
