Blitzway Kills It With New Classic Ghostbusters Action Figures

Blitzway Classic Ghostbusters Action figures, team lineup

OK, so Hot Toys isn’t the only game in town when it comes to incredible and incredibly life-like sixth scale action figures. I mean, it’s not like Blitzway is just arriving on the scene or something, though up until recently they’ve been doing mostly statues. That all changed, though, when they released details and photos of their Tyler Durden action figures a couple of months back. Well, they’ve done again, this time with a series of new Classic Ghostbusters action figures.

Details on the Blitzway Classic Ghostbusters Action Figures

As mentioned, these figures will be 1/6 scale, meaning they’ll be roughly 12 inches in height. Blitzway hasn’t revealed any official details yet on articulation, but looking at the photos, the figures appear to be well-articulated. No word on all the accessories that will be included either, but it looks like they’ll all come with proton packs, and there will be things like effects for the proton packs, cigarettes for the figures, ghost traps and headsets. And the outfits all appears to be of the real fabric, hand tailored variety, which is awesome.

However, the most impressive thing, by far, appears to be the sculpt.  Seriously, take a moment and marvel at just how real the figures look.

Right? I mean, you wouldn’t fault somebody if they called these figures to help them bust ghosts.

Pre-Ordering Details for the Blitzway Ghostbusters Action Figures

Blitzway hasn’t put these classic Ghostbusters action figures up for pre-order anywhere yet or provided any details on when the figures are expected to ship, or how much they might cost. Best guess, based on the Tyler Durden figures, $250 – $275 range for price, and a release of late 2016 or early 2017. Need something to wash away the taste of the recent attempt to convince you that Ghostbuster 2 is actually not that bad Ghostbusters reboot? These figures look like the perfect thing.
