Around here we live in the world of firsts. Just in the past year we have had the 3.75″ Kenner Alien action figures released, 6 inch Star Wars Black Series figures released, and now we have the world’s first Rocketman sixth scale figure by Go Hero.
Towards the tail end of last year Go Hero, the makers of 12 inch Pulp Hero action figures, joined forces with Exclusive Replicas and Phicen to develop the ‘next level’ of high-end, cutting edge collectibles. Their first release is going to be Rocketman from the 1997 movie.
The figure itself features the likeness of George Wallace, a metal helmet, metal jetpack, metal luger, metal cannon, metal control panel, a radio, interchangeable hands and of course the clothing that was seen in the film.
Since this figure is only going to be the first sixth scale release from Go Hero, they are only going to be producing 1,000 total figures worldwide. As a result of the production numbers being so low, the figures are going to be priced to sell at $259.99 at GoHero.com.
