Barns and Noble Gets More Exclusive Kotobukiya Star Wars ARTFX+ Statues

Kotobukiya have revealed two new statues for their Star Wars line – the Utapau Clone Trooper ARTFX and the TC-14 ARTFX. Just like what Kotobukiya has done in the past for some of their statues, these statues are going to be exclusive to Barns and Noble.

The TC-14 droid looks simply to be a repaint of C3PO, which is not a bad thing. The details are all the same he’s just painted silver.

For the Utapau Clone Trooper, it looks as if Kotobukiya are using a similar feature that they used with some of their Halo statues. He’ll have interchangeable legs and arms so you can change the pose he’s in. The detail and paint are fantastic, which is to be expected of a Kotobukiya statue. It also appears that he has articulation in the head/neck.

Both statues will come with black magnetic bases to be optionally be displayed on. They’ll also both be in the 1/10 scale and will be out this November exclusively at Barnes and Noble. If you’re a big fan of Kotobukiya’s Star Wars statues, and particularly smaller characters in the Star Wars Universe, these are a must have.

Bryan first discovered an appreciation for action figures at an early age, setting up elaborate GI Joe ant hill attacks, complete with firework pyrotechnics. Due to the high injury rate for the Joes, replacements were a constant necessity.
