Bandai SDCC 2015 Exclusives [Final Update June 24]
Collectors love Bandai, Bandai Japan specifically, because of their highly articulated and meticulously detailed action figures. Bandai America on the other hand just seems to under perform for collectors. They do however have some big licenses, like Power Rangers, which should be making its way to Comic-Con again this year as one of the conventions most sought after exclusives (if history repeats itself again).
This page is going to serve as the master Bandai SDCC 2015 Exclusives page, meaning that it will be updated accordingly when Bandai announces more exclusives. New announcements appear at the top next to the date they were added.

Limited Black Edition Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Saba Saber
The ultimate Mighty Morphin POWER RANGERS dream collector’s piece: Limited Black Edition Legacy Saba Saber, exclusively for San Diego Comic-Con. This full size collector’s edition of Tommy Oliver’s Saber is exclusively designed in black and gold and made with premium die cast parts. Saba’s eyes light up and his mouth moves to six phrases, recorded by the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers voice talent: Tony Oliver! Relive Tommy’s greatest battles with phrases from the show and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theme song. Only 1000 pieces of this limited Black Edition Saba Saber have been produced. Each is individually numbered and comes in a handsome collector box. Available exclusively at the Bandai America booth #3535 at San Diego Comic-Con. Limited quantities available each day. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Dino Charger Power Pack
The second MMPR exclusive announced by Bandai was the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Dino Charger Power Pack. Only 700 sets have been made and they will be available for just $30 in the manufacturer’s booth. Getting this exclusive will likely require you to get a ticket in the Sails Pavilion.
Tokyo Vinyl Mighty Morphin Power Rangers White Ranger
The popular toy maker has announced their first Power Rangers exclusives, and I’m sure many more will be coming in the future. This figure makes for the fifth Tokyo Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Vinyl Figure, and is limited to 700 pieces and will be priced to sell for $25.

Limited Edition Doraemon METALLIC Vinyl Figure
Bandai hasn’t quite revealed all of their exclusives, as they don’t even have the page on their website ready yet. They did reveal one exclusive via Instagram, and I’m sure we shall see the rest very soon.
This Limited Edition Doraemon METALLIC Vinyl Figure will be available exclusively at the show and will be limited to 300 pieces worldwide. Pricing is not available at this time.
How To Get Bandai Comic-Con Exclusives
Unlike some of the other companies that attend San Diego Comic-Con each year, Bandai doesn’t offer pre-orders for their products. Their products are usually super limited edition and the only way to get them is to stop by their booth at the show.
You need to take Bandai seriously if you want one of their exclusives. The line to their booth is usually full the second the doors open in the morning, but if you do some strategic planning you should be able to find the most direct route to their booth before everyone else gets there.
Bandai has added a section to their website describing the purchase process in extreme detail:

Form a single file line in the Sails Pavilion Thursday-Sunday morning July 9-12. The line will form at the front of the building for entry to the Sails Pavilion. Depending on crowds, this line may start moving as early as 7:00 am.

Select which items you want the opportunity to purchase. Take a ticket for each of those items. Please note, a ticket to purchase is not guaranteed.

There will be 2 types of tickets: “Guaranteed Purchase” tickets, and “Random Drawing” tickets.
- If you get a “Guaranteed Purchase” ticket, read it carefully! It will list the time range you can come to the Bandai booth #3535 that day only to purchase your product.
- If you get a “Random Drawing” ticket, you have been entered in the drawing to purchase that item on the specified day. Check at the Bandai booth #3535 on the big screens, any time after 10:00 AM on the designated date to see if your number is drawn for you to purchase on that day only!

Be sure to purchase your product by 5:00 PM on the same day you receive the ticket!! Tickets are valid same day only.

Credit card only, no cash. No product will be sold without a valid “Guaranteed Purchase” ticket or a winning “Random Drawing” ticket. Limit 1 of each item per person. Duplicated tickets will not be honored. ADA attendees with mobility issues should follow SDCC instructions on Sails Pavilion entry and line access. All Sales Final.
