There is no more embargo and no more secrecy – just tons of Godzilla 2014 action figures and toys. Bandai has a full line of toys and action figures based on the Godzilla 2014 movie, so there’s likely something for everyone.
Bandai’s actual Godzilla action figures are likely to be the true collector’s focus, though the disappointing thing is that all of them have some sort of a gimmicky action feature. Whether it’s the Atomic Roar figure with the roaring action, the Smash Strike figure that smashes with his upper torso or the Tail Strike Godzilla that smashes with his tail – they are all able to do some sort of action. With that being said, it looks like the Atomic Roar Godzilla is going to be the figure that has collectors most excited due to his ‘collector-level detailing.’
Bandai isn’t just going to be making larger scale action figures, they are also making a few smaller playsets that come with a Godzilla figure, pieces to build a city and one of the sets even comes with an enemy Kaiju! Apart from the playsets, Bandai also have a 2-pack available with really cute Chibi-style anime figures of Godzilla and the mysterious Kaiju without a name.
According to the ToysRUs.com website, these new Godzilla 2014 toys should be available in stores now.
