An American Werewolf in London Kessler Wolf up for pre-order!

Beware The Moon

Earlier this year NECA surprised everyone when they revealed that they had got the long-sought-after license for An American Werewolf in London and to celebrate the film’s 40th anniversary this year NECA is releasing a line of Ultimate figures based on the iconic. They have revealed two figures so far the Dream Demon(s) and the Kessler Wolf which is the titular monster from the film.

NECA has previously shown a teaser image of the Kessler Wolf and a few other images, and now at long last, the figure is available to pre-order. As of yet, no UK retailers have put the figure up for pre-order but I expect InDemand Toys will in the coming days as they have the Dream Demon up for pre-order on their site.

I have to say this figure looks absolutely brilliant, terrifying, and ferocious. The Kessler Wolf will measure 11″ long so it’ll take up a considerable amount of space up on your display. The detail is outstanding and looks exactly how the monster looked in the film it’s uncanny. The figure looks well articulated too and I love that he comes with an interchangeable head with open bloody jaws. This figure is a must-have for me and I cannot wait for it to be released later this year!

Here’s the press release from NECA:

NECA’s newest figure from An American Werewolf in London is an action figure first! The classic 1981 movie is the perfect blend of comedy and true horror and follows two American backpackers and their increasingly terrifying trip across England. Only David Kessler survives the bizarre wolf attack that kills his friend Jack… but then an undead Jack returns to warn David that he will soon transform into a murderous beast.

Never before made as an action figure, Kessler’s wolf form is more than 11 inches at its full length and has over 30 points of articulation. Includes interchangeable heads and comes in a collector-friendly window box with an opening flap that’s great for display.
