These Prime 1 Studio Batman and Superman Statues Look Unreal

In about a month, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is coming out in cinemas worldwide. For that occasion, Prime 1 Studio, a Japanese company, has partnered up with DC Entertainment to create the ultimate statues for any fan’s collection.

Two massive ½ scale statues are being released with a staggering height of 41 inches (approximately 100cm). Both the Superman and the Batman statue will be crafted in stunning detail using translucent resin to give the skin a life-like realistic look.

The statues will be made to resemble Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck fully suited in their respective Superman and Batman costumes, made from real fabric and detailed very accurately so as to resemble the movie costumes as much as possible. Two emblems will also be included for display, as well as a LED Spotlight base for posing.

The edition size is 1000 each, meaning that if you want these statues, you should probably to hurry, should you decide to go for it, and purchase them for an estimated retail price of $1,999 per statue. Pictures of the statues have also been revealed on Prime 1 Studio’s Facebook page, with a disclaimer that these are just production samples and that product details could be subjected to change without further notice.

Pre-ordering has begun in Japan, and it has been confirmed that Sideshow Collectibles will be in charge of distribution for the western market, with the pre-ordering bound to begin sometime in the upcoming weeks. There is, as of now, no information regarding the actual release date or expected shipping date. Be sure to check Prime 1 Studio’s official Facebook page as it is the best place finding future information about the statues.

Regardless of whether you are on team Batman or team Superman, you will certainly agree with others that the statue quality is undeniable, making these statues a great addition to any serious fans collection.
