‘Action Elite’, A High-End Captain Action Line Coming from Go Hero, Executive Replicas, and Phicen

Captain Action, Go Hero, Executive Replicas, and Phicen Ltd have teamed up to bring you the next level of Captain Action: ‘Action Elite’.

Action Elite is Captain Action’s newest line, featuring licensed figures, costume sets, and accessories under this new name. The new Action Elite sixth scale action figures will be using the latest techniques, materials, and standards in artisan figure making in order to really bring Captain Action to the boutique designer level of collectibles that many collectors have just been dreaming about.

“With these projects, we’ll now be able to offer high-end, museum quality items as part of the total Captain Action figure line. We’ll also use the opportunity to fill in a lot of the items on collectors’ wish lists.”

Joe Ahearn, Founding Partner, Captain Action Enterprises

Captain Action, Doctor Evil, Lady Action, and Action Boy are all going to be redesigned using the cutting edge technology, high-end bodies that reflect the character, beyond that of the standard toy level that is currently available on the market. Action Elite is essentially a high-end Captain Action line that was meant specifically for adult collectors.

“We are dedicated to original pop-icons, especially those with historical credibility. Captain Action is the perfect fit because of its honored place in the world of 1:6 scale collectibles. It is a real joy to be able to pool our talents with the contagious commitment of both Ed and Joe.  We have tried for years and finally the timing is perfect to develop the Captain Action brand into exciting new arenas.”

Steve Forde, Founder of Go Hero

Captain Action is going to be taking this new endeavor on head on, with creative consulting from Go Hero, production management by Executive Replicas, and next-level manufacturing by Phicen Ltd. The first product is expected to go on sale as early at Q3-Q4 of 2014. Stay tuned for more licensing deals in the near future.
