SDCC 2014: Kotobukiya Announces First Appearance Batman ARTFX+ Statue by Bob Kane

Artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger have been thrilling readers young and old alike for 75 years with Batman. In order to commemorate this milestone 75th Batman Anniversary, Kotobukiya has created a First Appearance Batman ARTFX+ Statue.

The statue resembles “Bat-Man” as he first appeared in Detective Comics issue #27. Sculpted by Atelier Bamboo, Batman stands in 1/10th scale and includes a magnetic display base for effortless display options.

Kotobukiya notes that the statue is “an extremely limited edition”, though they haven’t quite announced just how limited. He’s going to be available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 and through a limited Kotous.com non-attendee pre-order event. Pre-order information will likely be announced in the coming weeks.

Not excited about Kotobukiya’s first SDCC 2014 exclusive? You should be! But, if you are not, why don’t you check out what other manufacturers are bringing to the show on our San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusives Checklist?
