Mezco Toyz to Release Talking Child’s Play Dolls
Talking Child’s Play Dolls: Perfect for Jumpstarting Your Nightmares!
2016 has already brought new of some great action figures, with release to excite collectors of every kind. Child’s Play fans? It’s your turn. Mezco Toys is set to add two new talking Child’s Play dolls to their Mega Scale series, and they’re definitely not playing around. Chucky, the pint-sized terror and main villain from the Child’s Play films, and Tiffany, first introduced in Bride of Chucky are coming to town. Chucky, for the uninitiated, is a murderer whose soul was put into a “Good Guy” doll in a voodoo ritual, and Tiffany is his girlfriend from the time he was alive.
Both Chucky and Tiffany will be 15 inches tall (approximately 38 cm) and will be made to resemble their movie counterparts as much as possible. Chucky will feature 11 points of articulation, his trademark orange hair, numerous scars, and tears in his clothing which is made out of real cloth. Tiffany comes dressed in her famous bridal gown with a leather jacket, with even the smallest details such as her TIFF necklace, tattooed décolletage, and lacquered fingernails. The Chucky figure also features a plastic knife, while both figures include eyes made out of glass-like plastic.
One of the most important features are buttons located on their backs which make them talk. Chucky says seven different phrases from the films, and Tiffany says six.
Both figures come packaged in high-quality plastic packaging with a window, making it great for both those who would like to remove it from the box and those who prefer to display it boxed. The figures cost $94 each and can be pre-ordered on Mezcotoyz.com. However, the shipping is for US customers only, and costs and extra $15. They can also both be found on Entertainment Earth for $79.99 as well, with free shipping for US residents. Chucky’s release date is estimated to be sometime between June and July 2016, while Tiffany comes out a bit later, sometime between August and September 2016.
