Kotobukiya Reveals New Lady Thor Bishoujo Statue
If your Lady Deadpool bishoujo statue from Kotobukiya is starting to look a little lonely, don’t worry, because Kotobukiya has just revealed the latest statue in their bishoujo line, Lady Thor. The Kotobukiya Lady Thor Bishoujo Statue features a sculpt based on illustrations from renowned artist Shunya Yamashita, and is inspired by the Jane Foster Thor. For those not familiar with Lady Thor, last year, in the comics, Foster was found worthy to wield the legendary Mjollnir after Thor was no longer able to. Taking on the name of Thor, the Goddess of Thunder, Foster then joined The Avengers so she could help out in kicking super-villain butt.
Details on the Kotobukiya Lady Thor Bishoujo Statue
The statue will be 1/7 scale, making it roughly 12 inches (30 cm) tall, and feature Foster raising the mighty Mjollnir overhead. It’s made out of PVC and ABS plastic and appears to have a pretty spectacular paint job, including a stone-style base for the statue. And, as an unexpected but very welcome extra, the figure will come with an interchangeable unmasked Jane Foster head. Also, if you hadn’t heard, Kotobukiya will also be releasing a Loki Bishoujo statue in the near future, with a base that will connect with Lady Thor’s.

Pre-ordering the Kotobukiya Lady Thor Bishoujo Statue
The Kotobukiya Lady Thor Bishoujo Statue is currently available for pre-order on the Kotobukiya website, and for pre-order on Amazon. With a price-point of $89.99, Lady Thor is one of the most expensive statues in the Kotobukiya Bishoujo line, though, at 12 inches, she is also the largest. Whether or not Lady Thor worth the extra dough is up to you, but we think she’s worth it. Also, if you are interested in picking one of these up, don’t wait too long as the more popular Kotobukiya statues tend to sell out quickly. As of now, the estimated release date for the statue is January 2017.
