Dortmund Comi-Con Marvel Legends & Star Wars Reveals

A few surprises from Hasbro to end 2019!

This weekend Hasbro is attending Dortmund Comi-Con this weekend and they have revealed products for their Marvel Legends and Black Series lines.

The two Marvel Legends reveals are the Stepford Cuckoos & Storm. The Storm is a repaint of the fantastic Storm figure that was released in the retro Uncanny X-Men line. Where the original figure was in white and gold this one is black and gold which is more inspired by her appearance in the 90’s X-Men series in the ’90s. Whereas this one is more inspired by the X-Men comic books from the ’90s. As you can see she comes with the same effect pieces too.

I really love the Uncanny X-Men wave Storm and I would be very tempted to pick up this one too! It’s unclear at this moment time what wave this figure will be in, though I suppose it will be revealed in good time!

The Stepford Cuckoos have been rumored for some time as a Walgreens exclusive. Now Hasbro has officially revealed the figure. As you can see the figure has three interchangeable heads to create each of the three Stepford Cuckoos. The figure also comes with some effect pieces and a Cerebro helmet. I’ll definitely get three figures to create all three as I’ve got the Walgreens exclusive Emma Frost and they’ll look great accompanying her on the shelf!

For the Star Wars reveals they revealed two new figures for the Black Series line, some Galaxy of Adventures figures a Black Series lightsaber and a roleplay mask.

The two Star Wars Black series figures they have revealed are Clone Commander Bly and Sith Jet Trooper. At this point in time, it’s unclear what wave each of these two figures will be in but I can guess the Sith Jet Trooper will be in a Rise of Skywalker assortment and Commander Bly will be released another wave sometime next year.

Both of these figures look fantastic especially the Bly figure as I cannot have enough clones on my shelf!

For the Galaxy of Adventures line, they have revealed Boba Fett, Darth Maul. Sith Jet Trooper and Yoda. I’m a fan of the Galaxy of Adventures line even though I haven’t picked up any of them yet but I have been tempted! These three figures look fantastic especially the Boba Fett and Yoda as the animated style looks perfect on these two.

The roleplay item is a Sith Trooper mask which is really only suitable for children. Undoubtedly we’ll see a Black Series helmet down the line.

They’ve also released another Black Series lightsaber this one is Count Dooku’s and it looks terrific.

I should mention that all these items are expected to be released next spring.
