Custom Iron Man Armors From Hot Toys Iron Man Suit Up at Hysan Place

The Hot Toys Iron Man Suit Up Exhibition has been going on for about 3 days now and Hot Toys has posted a few images from the event. Since the event is mainly focused around promoting the Iron Man 3 movie there are of course all of the Hot Toys Iron Man 3 collectibles there, including the recently announced diecast Iron Patriot, diecast Mark XLII, Tony Stark, Mark VII (Movie Promo), and the Iron Man 3 cosbabys.  Artists from around the world have also re-imaged Iron Man for the Artist Project, resulting in a whole bunch of custom Iron Man armors!

But before we take a closer look at those amazing pieces of art, let’s take a look at the some better photos of the figures that will actually be released.

Some of the most anticipated figures are the newly announced diecast figures. We are left to wonder whether or not they are going to be worth it? I must say they look amazing, but I still want to have one in my hand. Once I get one in my hand I probably won’t be able to resist much longer.

One of the most mysterious figures that has been announced already is the Mark VII – Movie Promo Edition. We have no idea when the pre-order is going to be going live or even if Sideshow is going to be getting it. We can only assume that they will be getting it since they got the Mark VI movie promo, and they are the North American distributor. We also don’t know what the price will be or how many are going to be available world-wide. The Mark VI movie promo had 3000 worldwide, so I wouldn’t expect to many more than that if any.

I could only imagine what the Hall of Armor would look like all filled up with all of Tony Stark’s armors. Now that I see it, it makes me want to be an Iron Man completest. Though the way Hot Toys has been releasing figures lately, I think that’s a VERY bad idea.

    • It would be a VERY bad idea because Hot Toys seems to be making pretty much everything Iron Man related recently. If you were a Iron Man completist then you would have to have some very deep pockets in order to buy everything that was released.

With the new diecast line, there are going to be a whole bunch of costly Iron Man armors on the horizon.

Oh, got it. I thought you were talking about buying the Hall of Armor setup and implying it wouldn't be worth it because they will eventually produce variants of each of those figures.
