C-3PO, Bossk, and Han Solo (Stormtrooper) to join Hasbro’s Star Wars Black Series 6-inch Figures

Jedi Temple Archives has put up a very interesting article stating that C-3PO, Bossk, and Han Solo (Stormtrooper) will be joining Hasbro’s Star Wars Black Series 6-inch line. As much as you might be doubting the news, JTA was also able to snag an image to prove it.

The Star Wars Black Series wave 5 figures are going to be shipping in August, with these new wave 6 figures following behind that in October 2014. At this point it’s unclear what the fourth figure in the wave is going to be, but I would assume it’s going to be a repack of the Clone Trooper or another popular character that has already been released.

If you take a look at the image below, you may be slightly alarmed at the SRP of $22.99. Since this image is from Diamond’s system, their SRP is generally a couple of dollars or so above Hasbro‘s SRP. It’s like this for most/all products, so don’t be alarmed by this.

Also coming with the news of the wave 6 figures, comes news that Diamond Comics is going to be offering retailers the chance to order solid cases of some of the figures that have been released so far. This is an exclusive offer from Diamond Comics as a test, but if it’s successful I’m sure other retailers will also be able to order solid cases as well. Diamond distributes products to all comic shops and some online retailers.

This offer isn’t specific to the Star Wars Black Series line, as Diamond is also going to be offering retailers to order solid cases of other Hasbro products like Marvel Legends.
