6 inch MAFEX Darth Vader to be Medicom’s First Star Wars Addition to the Line

Right around the time that Medicom debuted their Amazing Spider-Man 2 MAFEX figure, they also had a placard on display that hinted at 6 inch MAFEX Star Wars action figures. The CafeReo Character Convention is currently underway in Japan and Medicom had a MAFEX Darth Vader on display!

I’m sure that this is only the first of many 6 inch Star Wars figures that we are going to be seeing form Medicom. Ever since Hasbro took the Star Wars license and made 6 inch Black Series figures, Star Wars figures in this scale have been extremely popular. So popular that collectors that completely quite collecting have returned to the game once again.

Looking that the first images of the figure below, it looks like Darth Vader is going to stand slightly taller than previous releases. His size is currently unknown, but The Joker and Spider-Man both stand right around 6.2 inches or so. He features a cloth cape and his signature red lightsaber. Pricing and release date has not been announced.
